PAPER PRESENTATION AT THE 3RD GLOBAL EI FORUM AT TISS, MUMBAI

We are pleased to announce the 3rd Emotional Intelligence Forum at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai on the 5th & 6th March, 2010. The Conference would be addressed by leading Academicians and eminent Practitioners from across the globe. Shri Arun Balakrishnan, C& MD- HPCL & FEIL Chairman would inaugurate this conference. Dr. Darwin B. Nelson, Formerly Professor at A&M Texas, Dr. Robert Emmerling of EI Consortium & Competency International, Sherry Immediato- MD for Society for Organizational Learning (Soul Chair is Dr. Peter Singhe, Author of the Seminal Book- The 5th Discipline & Faculty at MIT), Dr. Rick Hammett- Faculty at A&M University, Dr. Marc Fourcade- Leading Consultant, would be some of the key note Speakers addressing the sessions. We would also have Panel discussions which would have several luminaries from the Govt, Academies & Industry who deliberate on Leadership & Emotional Intelligence.

A no. of paper presentations from leading Practitioners would help us to understand better work and learning environments and its relationship to Productivity as well as personal and organizational effectiveness. We would also deliberate during these two days on important aspects of sustainability. Paper presentations would deliberate on the following themes:
  • Building engaging work environments.
  • Creating elements of an effective learning environment and the teacher/coaches role therein.
  • Industry contribution for a sustainable planet.
  • Building distributed leadership.
  • Action of non-profits for creating a healthy and productive society.
  • Role of EI in counseling/ mentoring /coaching /teaching.
An abstract of not more than 200 words needs to be sent to Prof. Veena Vohra at the veena.vohra@nmims.edu & Mr. Ashis Sen at ashissen@hpcl.co.in The final presentations would be sent after intimation of acceptance of the abstract in MS Word format not exceeding 1000 words. You could make the presentation in slides with the maximum of 10 slides. The presentation time would be limited to 20 minutes plus 5 minutes Q&A.
