The Emotional Intelligence Research Initiative (EIRI) was created and developed by Darwin Nelson and Gary Low in 2002 at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. In 2004 they planned and convened (with wonderful assistance from Mona Jackson who coordinated the inaugural event) the first annual conference to share and disseminate research with personal and emotional intelligence skills and ‘best practice’ applications in education and organizational settings. Our Twelfth Annual Institute for Emotional Intelligence will convene over the dates of April 13-17, 2015 in beautiful Waco, Texas. The theme of the 12th annual event is Pursuing Excellence in Education and Beyond, and we hope you will join us in our pursuit!
